Birthday Parties

It is a well known fact that children are totally and completely enthralled with horses. On the other hand, it is a little known secret that horses love children just as much!

It is a beautiful moment when a child touches a horse for the first time. On a television, horses are just animals that cowboys and indians ride around the desert. But in real life they are so much more. A child's innocent and sincere amazement at these most wonderful creatures is a joy to watch and take part in. I think the horses feel the same way most of the time. They are amused at these small humans that so completely love them and are in such awe. And like children, horses are always learning new things and trying so hard to take part in the world of the people with which they spend their time. It's almost like there is a sense of comradery between the child and the horse.

At the party we are happy to answer the hundreds of questions children invariably ask. We will show them the horses teeth and their feet -- the two parts the kids are always amazed at. We will let them pet and brush a horse as well. Of course we will also have them saddled up and walk each child around on the horse. We always do our best to spend the same amount of time with each child, so please be mindful of the number of kids you plan to have and the amount of time you set aside for the horses.
