January 2008 CCBR
We are now officially members of Central Carolina Barrel Racers. We run 6 events and the fun event at each show. The shows are held once a month, normally the third week of the month.
The barn took 4 horses and a visitor to the January show. We came back with lots of ribbons and two trophies. This months trophies go to Ben and Melanie, 1st place in Novice ride and Tsunami and Michelle, 1st place Novice Horse. Congratulations guys. Pumpkin went along for the ride and made a good first impression. We worked through a gate shyness and participated in the fun event. We paired up with Jessica and Dimples and pulled a second place. Dimples did good at the show and wasnt far behind. She won first place on the speed barrel and blew Tsunami out of the water on poles. Cant wait to see what they have in store for us in March. The barn wont be attending the February show. Michelle and Lee are going out of town and Jessica will be on vacation! See you in March.
