We have a new website!

I've been really hard at work over the past couple weeks making a new site for us because, well because....  Well, just because I felt like it okay?  I guess I was getting bored with the last one.  Plus, we had a lot more content we wanted to put up about our lesson program and some of our other services and the old structure just wasn't going to cut it.  Read on if you want to see some of the details about what has changed and some of our new features.

Our new site has pretty much all the same content that the old site had with some additions.  Under Services you will see a breakdown of what we offer like in the old site, but with more detail.  We also revamped the about us page and added some subpages to help you find the barn, learn about our core mission as we see it, and we moved our horsey pages under here too.

We still have a contact form for you to use, but notice that there is a subpage under Contact Us that allows you to sign up for our newsletter!  We promise not to spam you.  One newsletter is just for our students to help them stay up to date about lessons and what not.  The other list is a more general news and information list that we'll use to let you know about specials or new services we might start offereing.

Under News I've dropped our old blog in favor of a Horse BlogLucky and the rest of the gang have been bugging me for months about letting them contribute to the site, so I decided to give the horses their own blog.  Watch that space for updates.

Our Calendar page will be a little easier to navigate and just highlight upcoming events we are either hosting or participating in.  Watch that page for updates pretty frequently.

The pictures and videos page are similar to the old site (especially videos for now) but with a slicker interface.  Pictures are now arranged by category.  Under each category are one or more albums pertaining to that category.  Sometimes one album will be in more than one category, so don't panic if you notice that.  Click an album to see the pictures.  Once the pictures come up click a thumbnail to see the full image.  Nice effect eh?  You can also click one either side of the picture when it is in full view to go to the next or previous image.  I love that effect...

Finally, we have a guestbook page.  You can drop us a line about the new site, about a visit to the barn, about your great Aunt Hildebar, about how you like horsies, or even about how cute Mikayla is.  If that page takes off who knows what might come next?  Page comments?  A forum even???  The possibilities are endles.

So anyways, thanks very much for your support.  If you notice any problems (possible) or misspellings (likely) - please let me know via our contact page.  If that is not working then just call me.

We at EE Stables really hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. We held our annual pony rides at the same location as last year, off Hwy 50, and it was great. The weather was wonderful (remember last year when it was cold and raining?) and the visitors were really great. We have a lot of new students starting this year and we are so excited to have them and the rest of our great students out there at the barn. We've also got some new instructors out at the barn, some of them are even past students of ours! Read on to learn more about them and the other great things we've been up to!

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that I've updated our website software. It was a pretty major update so if you notice anything that does not look right feel free to use the contact form to let me know. If the contact form is broken, just open your window and yell really loudly so I can be sure to fix it :)
