Holy moly, things move pretty fast when a new baby comes. It's funny, you'd think that nine months would give you time to mentally prepare for everything. Unfortunately, when you don't know what to mentally prepare for then you can't really, well... prepare.
The good news is that God has grace and really took care of us. Mikayla is beautiful and healthy, and Michelle is doing great. Mikayla was seven pounds, two ounces. We came home last Saturday and we are all doing great. Still sleeping well and everything. Her first doctors appt. was on Monday and she is gaining weight really well and the doc said she's looking great. We could not agree more.
