Okay gang, sorry it's been so long since an update.  We've been uber busy around here doing lots of cool stuff.  Here is the thirty second update... We finished the training with Ice, got the owners other horse named "Chief" who also just went home and made huge progress -- I actually got to really liking that horse right about the time he left.

We took a trip to Mule days, view some Mule Days pictures here.  It was lots of fun, there are some cute pics there.

Michelle and I got to feed some Percherons for a friend of ours (they are super big horses).  See some pictures of the Percherons.

Last, but not least, Michelle and I also went on a camping trip to Little River.  It's just south of Lillington and a perfect trip for locals wanting some nice easy riding and camping.  There are trailer hookups and they host organized rides from time to time.  We had a blast cooking out and playing with the dogs.  We also had lots of privacy, because when you are by yourself in a campground designed for hundreds of horsey campers it is pretty darn empty.  Check out some really cool pictures of that by clicking on the thumbnail:

A whole new year!

We at EE Stables really hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. We held our annual pony rides at the same location as last year, off Hwy 50, and it was great. The weather was wonderful (remember last year when it was cold and raining?) and the visitors were really great. We have a lot of new students starting this year and we are so excited to have them and the rest of our great students out there at the barn. We've also got some new instructors out at the barn, some of them are even past students of ours! Read on to learn more about them and the other great things we've been up to!

Best Mule Days Ever!

It's been a while since an update, but I had to let you all know that we are doing great. Mule Days was just last weekend. We camped out from Thursday through Sunday afternoon and it was really fun. From the mud sling to rodeo we had the best time. Read on for all the funny stories!
