Well hey there cutie!

Oh, I'm sorry, you are here for the interview. That's right, I almost forgot. But hey, maybe after we're done here you and I can go get a latte or go shopping or something?

Right, okay, just the facts. Okay - it's cool. We can talk about me for a while, just remember that later on I'd like to hear about you too, K?

So, where to begin... Well, I was born in 2000 in the mountains of good 'ole NC. For the most part I got to run around and do whatever I wanted. I guess everyone pretty much saw that I was a good looking guy right off the bat, so they all loved me. Everyone wanted a chance to spend some time with me, mostly just brushing and petting. I knew that my other friends all went for rides and stuff, but I never did get to do that.

After a few years of just hanging around I went to live with this older lady. She had a couple other horses there and she took pretty good care of us. I guess this was about 2003. There was less brushing and petting here, but the food was good and we got to run around and do whatever we wanted so I didn't mind. Life was easy and good. But, even something so perfect can get old. It got kinda boring just eating grass, running around, and then eating more grass. I wan't sure what I wanted, but some kind of variety would have been nice.

So then a younger girl came along and took me over to her farm. I remember hearing her say something like, "He's beautiful, I can't wait to train him!" I was like, "Train who?" By this time I was about four years old and that whole "training" thing didn't sound like too much fun. But the funny thing was that she just never got around to getting started. I hung out in a pasture with some older mares for a while and just ate more grass. By the way, older mares can be really cranky - especially if you bite them on the neck and run away. They hate that!

Anyways, so after a good while of that some other people showed up. They looked like nice people. I walked up to the gate to say hi and they seemed pretty excited about that. I was like, "Okay, it's all good man, just coming up to say hi..."

So I guess they liked me too (why wouldn't they?) and we loaded up for a "little" ride. If I had known that we were going six hours away I don't think I would have just jumped up in that little trailer like that. I guess hindsight is 20/20...

The new place was cool, I made friends pretty quick. It was a nice change of pace for me too. Best of all, like two days after we got there the girl that picked me up was riding me around without a saddle or anything! It was sweet, and it was the first time that anyone had ever been on my back. I'd seen all the other horses doing it and it looked pretty cool, so I knew what to do when she got up there.

After that we kept trying new things and going new places. I love this latest spot. My only wish is that they would let me get in the pond whenever I wanted. But I can live without it. The hay here rocks and the riding is pretty fun. Plus, lately I've been going to these "rodeos" and hanging out with some other cool horses. I think I could get used to that, although there's been talk of some flagging and roping like that. I guess we'll just see where that goes...  Im not a big fan with flags. Im a little nervous if things are taller than me.  Im not short just vertically challenged :)  I love running barrels though and will do that for my girl any day of the week.  We have lots of fun.  Some times my favorite day of the week is Thursdays nights.  I get to have my girl and we go on night rides with the other horses at the barn.  My peple are good to me they always take to new places and let me see new things.  We went to the beach for the first in 2008, that was the best time of my life.  I could live there.

Now, about that latte, lets go shopping. Did I mention my favorite color is..... PINK!
