Welcome to EE Stables.com

Welcome to the online home of EE Stables!  We are a family oriented riding barn located just north of Fuquay-Varina off of Panther Lake road and Highway 42 twenty minutes south of Raleigh, North Carolina (see maps).  We offer a variety of services including trail rides, horsemanship and riding lessons, and birthday parties.  Please feel free to browse around the site to learn more about us and what we do out at the barn.

Why take horsemanship lessons?

Well, there are a lot of reasons.  Riding horses is a mentally and physically stimulating experience.  It is a unique challenge unlike any other activity.  Riding horses is a chance to reach back to the past and gain a better understanding of our ancestors and their ways of life.  It is an opportunity to clear your mind and enjoy the outdoors.  If you would like to learn more about our lesson program, just go to our Four Shoes homepage.

Summer Camp

Does your child love to be around horses?  Does she/he enjoy crafts, learning and lots of fun?  Then EE Stables Summer Horsemanship Camp is where they need to be!  Yes. its time to start thinking about summer camp. This year is EE Stables third year hosting a summer camp for beginner to intermediate riders.  We are so excited about all the crafts, horseback riding and fun that we will have this year.  Deposit to hold your childs place is $75.00.  Spaces are limited and they are filling up fast.  Please contact us as soon as possible if you are interested in attending our camp. July 13th-17th 2009.  Times 2pm-7pm, Horse show Friday 4:00pm.

Horse Birthday parties? Are you serious?

You bet we are!  We've had the opportunity to host several birthday parties out at our barn now and the children always enjoy them.  A horse themed birthday party is a memorable experience for everyone who comes.  The kids get to run around outside, rather than make messes in your kitchen.  Plus, we like hosting parties because it makes us take a morning to do some extra cleaning!  For more information and some pictures, read our Birthday Party information page.

What is the best way to keep up with you guys?

The best way is to check our website every so often for new pictures, special events and summer camp announcements. You can also sign up for Twitter and follow us. We use twitter to send out updates a few times a week with pictures and fun stuff that we are doing. To sign up for updates just go to the EE Stables twitter page and sign up from there.

A whole new year!

We at EE Stables really hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. We held our annual pony rides at the same location as last year, off Hwy 50, and it was great. The weather was wonderful (remember last year when it was cold and raining?) and the visitors were really great. We have a lot of new students starting this year and we are so excited to have them and the rest of our great students out there at the barn. We've also got some new instructors out at the barn, some of them are even past students of ours! Read on to learn more about them and the other great things we've been up to!

Best Mule Days Ever!

It's been a while since an update, but I had to let you all know that we are doing great. Mule Days was just last weekend. We camped out from Thursday through Sunday afternoon and it was really fun. From the mud sling to rodeo we had the best time. Read on for all the funny stories!
